A valid NexusAI subscription is required to activate the add-in. NexusAI is web-first — create your account and subscribe on the web, then install the add-in. computer. The installer is Authenticode-signed with a DigiCert
Extended Validation (EV) code-signing certificate issued to
Project Nexus LLC — you can confirm the publisher at any time by
right-clicking the .exe → Properties →
Digital Signatures.
Because each release is freshly published, Windows SmartScreen may show a “Windows protected your PC” notice on the first downloads until reputation builds for the new version. This is a reputation prompt for new software, not a virus detection — the file is safe to run:
NexusAI installs no services, drivers, or background auto-updater and makes no changes outside its own install folders. If antivirus ever flags the file, it's a false positive — please contact support and we'll help; there's no need to disable your protection.
Double-click the downloaded file. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway. The installer handles all dependencies automatically.
Open Revit and find the NexusAI ribbon tab. Click the NexusAI button to open the AI assistant.
NexusAI is web-first — accounts and subscriptions are managed entirely on the web, not inside Revit.
