# NexusAI

Full agentic Revit automation for Autodesk Revit 2021–2027.

NexusAI is a Windows add-in by Project Nexus LLC. Describe an outcome in plain language. The product runs a closed loop inside the open Revit model: inspect live project data, search the Revit API for the correct signatures, execute Python, verify the result, and retry with targeted code edits until the work lands.

It is not a chat-only Revit assistant. Chat tools answer questions. NexusAI completes the work.

This is the Revit automation product at [getnexusai.net](https://getnexusai.net/). It is not the unrelated ITSM product, open-source agent framework, or website template that also use the name NexusAI.

## Who it is for

Architects, engineers, BIM managers, and AEC technology teams who want model work done in Revit without writing the automation themselves. Firms on mixed Revit years (2021 through 2027) can deploy one installer.

## What the agentic loop does

1. Connects to the active Revit session and reads live context: version, views, levels, worksets, units, phases, element counts.
2. Plans the automation and semantically searches a Revit SDK index before writing version-sensitive API calls.
3. Executes Python in the open model with scoped transactions and pre-execution safety checks.
4. Verifies the result: exact measurements read back from the model and, for geometric work, an annotated image of what changed, built from the changed elements and fed back as vision input.
5. Evaluates the result and iterates until the task succeeds, or until the user stops the run.

A live stream shows reasoning, API lookups, script execution, and verification as they happen.

## Version coverage

One signed installer: Revit 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027 on Windows 10/11. API calls are adapted to the installed year.

Frontier models from leading providers, each with native tool use across the agentic toolchain. New releases are added as they ship.

## Safety
